HDR-SVFIT

HDR-SVFIT (High Dynamic Range– Sedimentation Velocity Data FITing) is an application for analysing and fitting sedimentation velocity data sets from (multiwavelength) analytical ultracentrifugation and analytical centrifugation experiments by a direct boundary modelling approach on a standard desktop computer.

The apparent as well as the diffusion-corrected sedimentation coefficient distribution can be determined.

For multiwavelength data sets, a global analysis for all selected wavelengths is performed. For that, enhanced regularisation techniques are available, whereby distribution broadening is prohibited, especially for monodisperse and paucidisperse samples. Furthermore, the frictional ratio or the partial specific volume can be fitted globally for all selected wavelengths, enhancing the accuracy for multi-component systems with extinction coefficients varying over the range of wavelengths.
